Government of Macedonia to Offer Scholarship for Nigeria Students- Coming Soon


The Macedonia Government has agreed to offer scholarships for Nigerian Students to study at universities in Macedonia.
Mid last week, President Goodluck Jonathan received the first Ambassador of Macedonia to Nigeria Mr. Darko Angelov, who presented his letter of credence at the State House, Abuja. Jonathan said he was happy with the posting of Angelov as first non-resident Macedonian envoy to Nigeria and expressed appreciation for scholarships offered by Macedonian government to train Nigerian youths in the country.
Mr. Angelov told President Jonathan that his country was very keen on developing existing relations with Nigeria because of Nigeria’s importance on the African continent.
President Jonathan says his administration is fully aware of the importance of education and is therefore doing everything possible to ensure that the nation’s youth are properly trained to contribute more significantly to national development.
The President said that he was happy to welcome Mr. Angelov, who was at the Presidential Villa to present his letters of credence as Macedonia’s first-ever Ambassador to Nigeria, adding that he looked forward to the consolidation and expansion of bilateral cooperation between Nigeria and Macedonia.
Mr. Angelov told President Jonathan that his country was very keen on developing existing relations with Nigeria because of Nigeria’s importance on the African continent.
Full Details about the Macedonian scholarship for Nigerian students and application process are yet to be finalized and made public.
